Platte County Community Family Resource Center

The FRC is a warm and welcoming space where individuals and families can access both formal and informal support that promotes health, stability, and overall well-being. We take a hands-on approach, providing day-to-day assistance with immediate needs while also offering comprehensive case management and concrete support tailored to each family’s unique situation.

Family Resource Centers are designed to be guided by the communities they serve. Our services are universally available, with some programs having specific eligibility requirements, and are open to all families regardless of income, background, or status. Programs include the “Ollie the Owl” Kids Tote Program, financial education classes, parenting classes, participation in the Community Resource Coalition (CRC), and collaboration with a wide range of community partners. Families are encouraged to connect with the FRC not only during times of crisis, but as a regular and supportive part of everyday life.

As the first Family Resource Center in Platte County, we are committed to building and strengthening community partnerships to expand our capacity, enhance collaboration, and ensure we continue to meet—and exceed—the evolving needs of Platte County families.
